Mental Health Week 2018

Mental Health Week is celebrated all around Australia and is run in WA by the Western Australian Association for Mental Health (WAAMH), supported by the Government of Western Australia, Mental Health Commission and Lotterywest.

This year, the theme of WA Mental Health Week is all about community and the various settings we go to every day where we can support the wellbeing of others:

'Mental health starts where we live, learn, work and play'

Volleyball WA have partnered with WAAMH to promote the ways sport can help contribute to good mental health. WAAMH is proudly part of Australia's mental health promotion group which plan awareness campaigns around World Mental Health Day.
