WA-Pinoy Invitational Friendship Cup, 4th-5th June 2016

The Perth Pinoy-Aus Sports Club Inc. (PePSCI) hosts the 2016 edition of the WA-Pinoy Invitational Friendship Cup (WAPIFC) on the 4th-5th June at the Belmont Oasis Leisure Centre. PePSCI successfully launched the first WAPIFC in 2013 which was pioneered by eight all-Filipino delegations from across Western Australia. Filipinos are able to display their love for sports that were popular in the Philippines such as volleyball and basketball. These games aim to foster an environment of sportsmanship, self-discipline, mutual respect, honesty, comradery and unity within the Filipino community and promote these values to the wider Filipino community in WA as well as the wider sports communities in Australia and the world.

There will be 16 delegations at this event from Albany, Belmont, Bunbury, Cloverdale, Geraldton, Hamilton Hill, Harvey, Kalgoorlie, Kewdale, Kwinana, Mandurah, Morley, Perth-East, Perth-North, Perth-South and Thornlie.

PePSCI is an Associate member of Volleyball WA and their teams continue to participate in the Alcohol. Think Again Country of Origin Social Volleyball Competition every year.
