Community Connect Joondalup Welcome Day

Volleyball WA with Northern Stars Volleyball Club, Joondalup Indoor Beach Volleyball and the Northern Suburbs Volleyball Academy (all three represented by John Sewell) participated in the Community Connect Joondalup Welcome Day on Sunday 1st May at Hillarys Boat Harbour. This event, hosted by the City of Joondalup and Inclusion WA, was an awesome opportunity for residents to find and connect with a range of inclusive and welcoming clubs and groups in the local community.

The Community Connect Sport and Recreation Program is aimed at developing a greater number of opportunities for local residents to find a greater belonging in their local community. This will also build the capacity at local clubs/groups and provide individuals with more opportunities to obtain a ‘socially valued role’ within the Joondalup community.
