2018 Indoor Season is here!

The 2018 Indoor season is here with WA Volleyball League and WA Volleyball Junior League set to get underway over the next week.

Below are few ways for you to get involved and discover Volleyball in 2018. We’ve broken it down into age groups, to help get you started.

AGES 7-12

Spikezone

Spikezone is back for another term. With three locations now available, Lords Recreation Centre, Duncraig Leisure Centre, Rossmoyne SHS and North West Volleyball Association in Karratha. Spikezone clinics are run by fully accredited Volleyball WA coaches. Designed to help introduce volleyball to new athletes, Spikezone is a great way to get kids more active.

WA Volleyball Junior League

Find a club near your to see if you can get involved. The WAVjL season runs from May through to August.

AGES 13-19

Volleyball WA U15 & U17 Development Squad

Volleyball WA’s Development squads are a chance for young athletes to learn and develop their skills in indoor volleyball. Under the guidance of WA’s best coaches, athletes will be graded in to Foundation and Talent groups in order to get training tailored for their ability. Running for 11 sessions on Monday and Thursday nights, the development squad is ideal for anybody wishing to represent the state at the 2018 Australian Junior Volleyball Championships.

Volleyball WA U19 Pre-Elite Squad

Volleyball WA’s U19 Pre-Elite squad has been designed to give emerging young athletes an edge as they begin to transition into the open grades. Combining five sessions, with an additional five games, the Pre-Elite squad is perfect for anybody looking for an alternative to WA Volleyball Junior League or simply wanting to get involved in the sport.

WA Volleyball Junior League (WAVjL)

AGES 20+

WA Volleyball League

Find a club near your to see if you can get involved. The 18-game season is set to get underway this weekend.

Indoor Beach Volleyball

A fun and low impact version of Beach Volleyball, it’s the perfect way to get some mates together and have fun.

Regional Social Volleyball

A range of WA’s regional clubs conduct social competitions throughout the year. Be sure to contact your club or use the Where to Play club finder to discover how you can play.
