WAVJL-Season 2017 Complete!

Last Friday evening saw the culmination of this season’s Junior competition in the WA Volleyball Junior League (WAVJL) finals. Held across two venues, Aquinas College (year 9-12) and Perth Modern School (year 7/8), the night showcased the best of WA’s future volleyball stars in action. It was a fantastic night of volleyball competition, entertainment and community, with great crowds and special appearances by our WA Pearls and Hornets players. Rossmoyne Senior High School took home the most silverware with three wins and two runners-up, while Mandurah Baptist College and Santa Maria took out the year 11/12 boys and girls respectively.

Volleyball WA would like to extend our sincere thanks to all involved in this year’s WAVJL competition. Schools, coaches, teachers, coordinators, referees, parents, friends, supporters, venues and sponsors all play a part in making the Junior League an unforgettable experience for the players.

Congratulations to all on a top quality competition for 2017, and well done to all the winners!
