Congratulations Hornets!!

Congratulations to the VWA Hornets who took home bronze in the 2014 Australian Volleyball League Finals Series over the weekend.

The boys opened their finals campaign against ‘top of the ladder’ Canberra Heat on Saturday but went down in a tough 4 set match. The Hornets regrouped and were ready to sting in the bronze medal match against VVA Vultures on Sunday.

In an epic 5 set battle, our VWA Hornets maintained their form and won 3 – 2.

Congratulations to our Western Australian Hornets and the coaching staff on a successful 2014 AVL season!

Congratulations also to The Queensland Pirates made it back-to-back titles with their win over the Canberra Heat in the Grand Final match.
