Volleyball WA would like to congratulate our beach volleyball superstars Cole Durant and Casey Grice following their performance at the FIVB Fuzhou Open in China . VWA has been tracking their progress closely and are excited to see the boys finish in 17th place.

Team Coach Marty Suan is proud of the duo and had this to say:
It has been a good tournament for Casey and Cole, amazing to be able to interact with them on a game by game basis and be able to watch 3 of their games live. Whilst we are always targeting top 10 results or better it’s important to take stock and realise that improvements have been made in all areas since the team formed a little over 6 months ago. The guys have been putting a strong focus on sticking together and it’s great to see them be able to do that through some high pressure situations through the tournament. The team is now looking forward to a small break and then pushing in the daily training environment to prepare for a very busy competition period in the back half of 2015.
