Warwick Stadium Community Open Day

The Warwick Stadium Community Open Day was held on Saturday, 6th February following the official opening of the Stadium a few days earlier.

John Sewell attended the Open Day to promote our wonderful sport to the wider community. With a few portable nets set up around the Stadium, volleyball attracted a number of young people who decided to have a go. John was then met by an ex team member and an ex senior player from a European League who kindly helped out with the children having a hit. As the day progressed, more and more people were interested in getting involved and having a hit of volleyball. Reflecting on the day, John is excited for the interest and growth of volleyball in this area and for the venue space at Warwick Stadium.
