Junior State Teams

 


The Australian Junior Beach Volleyball Championships (AJBVC) is the highest level of competition for junior beach volleyball athletes aspiring to play the sport at the highest level.  It sees teams of two players from around Australia compete for the coveted title of AJBVC Champions.

Divisions available are U/15, U/17 and U/19. All players on the team must meet the age requirements for the division in which they wish to play:

  • U/15: Both players are aged 14 and under in the year of the tournament.
  • U/17: Both players are aged 16 and under in the year of the tournament.
  • U/19: Both players are aged 18 and under in the year of the tournament.

All players looking to play in the AJBVC must be a part of the VWA Beach Development Squad.

The Australian Junior Volleyball Championships (AJVC) is the highest level of competition for junior indoor volleyball athletes aspiring to play the sport at the highest level.  

Divisions available are U/15, U/17 and U/19. All players on the team must meet the age requirements for the division in which they wish to play:

  • U/15: Both players are aged 14 and under in the year of the tournament.
  • U/17: Both players are aged 16 and under in the year of the tournament.
  • U/19: Both players are aged 18 and under in the year of the tournament.

All players looking to play in the AJVC must be a part of the VWA Development Squad.

WA has a rich history in the tournament with all players, coaches, referees and supporters understanding the meaning of wearing the “black and gold”.
