Accreditation
Once you have attended a Level 1 Referee Course, you will be registered with the National Officiating Accreditation Scheme (NOAS) as a District Referee. To attain higher accreditation you will need to be assessed. Please see the VWA Referee Committee page for more information.
WA is lucky to have a few committed and very enthusiastic referees who are always willing to help you whenever they are available.
Unlike the three levels of accreditation for coaches, referee accreditation is split into a series of levels that dictate what kinds of competitions they are capable of officiating. These levels reflect on the referee's experience and overall ability to officiate the game of volleyball. These levels are, in order from beginner to professional, as below;
- District
- Regional
- State
- National A
- National AA
- National AAA
- International
To get your accreditation finalised, please fill in all required forms and return them to the VWA Office.
To get reaccredited, refer to the Payment Form and arrange payment of your reaccreditation fee.
