About Social Indoor Volleyball.

Volleyball WA offers Social Volleyball Competitions for teams of Four and six a side.
A weekly match match fee per team applies: $27.00 for a 4 person team, and $36.00 for a six person teams. (Regular) players in VWA-run competitions must be VWA members. Annual, seasonal, and junior memerships are available(please see below). We encourage nomination of teams but we can find teams for individuals wishing to play.

Teams may have more than necessary on their team roster(e.g for a six person team, you may roster seven, eight or even more people.
For the Mixed Competitions, at least one member of each sex must be on court at all times.
The competition nights are either Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday depending on the venue.

Why play Social Volleyball?

Start a New Sport.

If you like to start playing volleyball, our social leagues allow you to begin in a fun enviroment with men and women of all ages.

Exercise.

Easy, social way to contribute to youor fitness level. Many people find it easier to meet a weekly group to exercise than to exercise individually.

Have a hit with your mates.

It is a good way to organise your friends together to do something in a weekly social context.

Be part of a competition.

VWA Social leaguess offer a socially competitve atmosphere while maintaining and encouraging participation and fun.

Meet People.

With some of our mixed competitions having up to twenty teams at their venue, it is a good oppor tunity to meet new people.

Inexpensive.

The highest game fee for any of our social competitions is $36.00 per team per week for a 6 a side team, being on average only $5.00 to $6.00 per person.

Fees

Type Of Membership. Cost of Membership. Classification
Adult (Full) $60 (inc GST) Entitles members to all ancillary benefits of membership and registers the player for all VWA run competitions, including but not limited to indoor and beach competitions.
Adult (Social) $35 (inc GST) Entitles members to all ancillary benefits of membership and registers the player for all VWA run SOCIAL competitions, including but not limited to indoor and beach competitions.
Adult (Seasonal) $25 (inc GST) Entitles members to all ancillary benefits of membership and registers the player for any VWA run SOCIAL competition that is less then 16 weeks in length, within and limited to a single indoor or beach competition "season".
U/19 $25 (inc GST) Entitles members to all ancillary benefits of membership and registers the player for all VWA run competitions, including but not limited to indoor and beach competitions. Member must be turning eighteen (18) or less in that particular calendar year.
U/13 $11 (inc GST) Entitles members to all ancillary benefits of membership and registers the player for all VWA run competitions, including but not limited to indoor and beach competitions. Member must be turning twelve (12) or less in that particular calendar year.
