WA Drug Aware Volleyball Schools Cup - MARCH
After receiving some feedback from schools, Volleyball WA is trialling a new Schools Cup Competition for March.
The 2010 Drug Aware High School Indoor Competition will be held on the 5th - 7th March 2010 at Lords Recreation Centre in Subiaco.
Please note that this is a separate competition to the WA Qualifier event (held in WA in August) for the National Schools Cup held in December in Melbourne.
There are 3 age groups - U15, U16 & Open with both A & B grades. Please see the above links for the playing day for each grade with all finals taking place on Sunday.
Nominations close on Friday 19th February 2010.
For less than $4 per person, players are guaranteed 5 games in the competition before final rounds!!!!
Please be aware, that the August Schools Cup will ALSO be RUN and is the official qualification event. The tournament is scheduled on 27th - 29th August (NOT 26th - 29th August, as previously stated by VWA, our apology for the confusion).
Please place these dates in your diary for 2010 and we look forward to seeing you at this new and exciting event. We are also going to offer a 4 round Junior Volleyball League immediately following this one weekend competition (more information to follow).
