Summer League
As the name implies, the Summer League competition takes place in the indoor off-season, usually in February and March. This brief league is intended as a lead-up to the main season. Because of this, the atmosphere of the Summer League is generally more relaxed than that of the PVL.
As with the PVL, nominations for teams can be made through your respective clubs. OR, if your Club does not field teams in Summer League, VWA does accept individual team nominations. Please contact the office for more information.
There are two divisions offered in the Summer League: Division A for more advanced players and Division B for beginner to intermediate players.
Matches take place Friday evenings and Sunday mornings and afternoons at Loftus Recreation Centre in Leederville. The league runs for 6 rounds.
