WA Beach Volleyball State Training Squads

There are three main VWA State Training Squads, all of which require players to attend tryouts before they may train. Squads train either once or twice a week, with a schedule determined by both coaches and players.

The Senior Elite Squad (Men and Women) targets players who are looking to play at AAA or AA Grade in the State Series and/or in the National Tour. This squad typically trains twice a week.

The Development Squad (Men and Woman) is intended for athletes who would like to further develop their existing skills. These athletes are typically AA/A to B Grade athletes.

The Development Squad B is for athletes who require a little more development work than athletes in the above two squads.

Training fees are determined depending on number of athletes and number of training sessions. Squads train at Royal Park in West Perth as well as various beaches in the Perth metropolitan area. Please contact the office for more information.
