Senior athletes wishing to represent WA can do so by playing on the Australian Beach Volleyball Series.
Training Opportunities
VWA provides training opportunities for those athletes that want to take their beach volleyball further. Please see the "Training Options" menu on the left for more information.
National Events - Australian Beach Volleyball Series
The highest level of beach volleyball in the country is featured in this series of weekend tournaments played across Australia. Each tournament, which is each state's respective State Open event, features players of the highest calibre battling it out for the title of National Beach Champions.
The series consists of 5 State Opens which pave the way to the National Beach Championships.
This is the highest level of competition available in Australia and is equivalent to other sports National Leagues. International standard players play in the Australian Beach Volleyball Series, therefore all players must be at a very high level.
The WA leg of the tour is the WA Drug Aware State Open.
