National Events - Australian Junior Beach Volleyball Championships
The Australian Junior Beach Volleyball Championships ("AJBVC") is the highest level of competition for junior beach volleyball athletes aspiring to play the sport at the highest level. It sees teams from around Australia compete for the coveted title of AJBVC Champions.
Divisions available are U/17, U/19, and U/23. Both players on the team must meet the age requirements for the division in which they wish to play.
Age Requirements:
- U/17: Both players are aged 16 and under on the date of the tournament.
- U/19: Both players are aged 18 and under on the date of the tournament.
- U/23: Both players are aged 22 and under on the date of the tournament.
For more information on becoming a WA State Representative in Beach Volleyball, please contact the office.
Additional Requirements:
All players looking to play in the AJBVC must also play the WA Junior Championships, which serve as a qualifying round for the AJBVC. This allows teams to be seeded in order to fit the AJBVC tournament structure. Volleyball WA recommends submitting WA Junior Championships nomination forms and AJBVC nominations at the same time.
All nominations must be accompanied with the entry fee stated on the nomination forms. Please note that proof of age may be required.
