Royal Park Open

The Royal Park Open is the first Beach Tour event of the season and is the qualifier round for the State Series. This tournament takes place across two weekends, one each for men and women, at Royal Park in West Perth.
Teams will play in one of several timeslots on Friday night and Saturday, and they will also play on Sunday if they make the finals. VWA does not guarantee any timetabling requests you may have. Playing in the Royal Park Open means you as a team will earn points that are used to determine your Grade. Grading is used in the remainder of the season to group teams of similar rankings together to play against one another.
From the nominated teams, the Top 6 teams will be selected (based on their latest two results from the previous season). These teams are not required to play in the Royal Park Open and will have automatic entry into AAA for the State Series #1.
Entry fee for the 2011 Royal Park Open is $60 per team.
