Round five of the Alcohol. Think Again WA Beach Volleyball Tour kicked off on Saturday the 11th of February in perfect conditions. Leighton Beach greeted players with blue skies, level sand and a light easterly breeze.
After coming 2nd in the Bunbury round, Rhodri Simmonds and Brett Lewington once again battled it out in the Men's AAA Grand Final. Their opponents were Bunbury winner Ben McRobb and his new partner Scott Biffen. McRobb and Biffen proved too strong on the day and won the Men's AAA, giving Ben consecutive victories.
In the AAA Women's division, the pairing of Tara West and Jenny Day took on Magdalena Davis and Pauline Manser in the Grand Final. West and Day proved too strong winning it in two straight sets.

The Alcohol. Think Again WA Beach Volleyball Tour returns to City Beach this Sunday for the Mixed Doubles competition and next week is heading Down South to Busselton to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Busselton Open competition. Make sure you come along!
