The 3rd and 4th of December saw the Alcohol. Think Again WA Beach Volleyball Tour arrive at City Beach for its first major tournament of the season. Nearly 200 players battled it out on the sand in 9 divisions during some hot and humid conditions.
The AAA grade women played on Saturday and saw Tara West and Jenny Day take top spot, with Melissa Johnson and Taleah Atthowe in as runners-up in the grand final.
The AAA men on Sunday showed off some great volleyball, with Michael Snart and Cole Durant beating Sam Kingston and his partner from Queensland - Trent Irwin in the grand final. Both teams will represent WA in the Australian Junior Beach Volleyball Championships early next year.
